[Position Overview]  

Job Title: Logistics Manager (Germany)   

Reporting To: Chief Commercial Officer (CCO)   

Work Location: Medit Europe GmbH  

 

 

 

[Key Responsibilities]  

Logistics Strategy & Planning 

• Develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with the company's operational and business objectives.  
• Oversee the planning and management of transportation, warehousing, and distribution operations to ensure smooth and efficient delivery.  

 

 

 

Supply Chain Coordination 

• Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations.  
• Manage inventory levels to ensure timely availability of products and handle order placements with the HQ in Korea.  
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the supply chain to maintain operational efficiency and improve delivery performance.  

 

 

 

Distributor & Partner Management 

• Negotiate and manage contracts with transportation providers, warehouses, and other logistics service partners.  
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key logistics partners to support business growth.  

 

 

 

Risk Management & Compliance 

• Ensure adherence to local and international logistics regulations, including customs, trade laws, and safety standards.  
• Identify potential risks within the logistics chain, implement mitigation strategies, and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all logistics and transportation activities.  

 

 

 

Collaboration with HQ 

• Work closely with the Commerce Division and Business Planning Group at the HQ in Seoul, Korea, to ensure alignment and seamless logistics operations between regional and global teams.  

 

 

 

[Qualifications] 

Education 

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field 
• An advanced degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration (MBA) is preferred. 
• Certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Lean Six Sigma are preferred.   

 

 

 

Experience 

• Proven experience as a Logistics Manager, with a minimum of 5 years in logistics or supply chain roles.  
• Strong understanding of logistics processes, transportation management, and inventory control.  
• Experience in international healthcare logistics, including import/export and customs regulations preferred.  
• Proven track record of implementing cost-saving and efficiency-enhancing logistics initiatives.  

 

 

 

Skills 

• Proficiency in logistics management software and tools (e.g., ERP, TMS, WMS). 
• Ability to commute daily to the Medit Europe GmbH office in Frankfurt.  
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
